PS3 loses $3 billion for sony so far
Xbox 360 loses $1.9 billion in the previous year

Will they realize for the next systems even with royalties and subscription services they still wont make any money if they sell them for less than they actually cost?

Nintendo was smart instead of going for power and expensive parts they go for fun and profit potential making $13 from each system in Japan, $49 in the United States, and $74 in Europe and on top of that they still get money from the games they make themselves.
