The Crystal city is an amazing work of art to walk through. Although more a collection of three cities, The Crystal City offers much for the various traveler. Wells, fountains, and canals can be found in many parts of the city, adding even more sparkle to the already shining city. The Important districts lie among the three sections of the city, as they each have their own variation of each of the major districts.
The Three Sections of the city are: The Marketplace, which is adorned by various shades of quarts, and sapphires; The Slums by a rough onyx and obsidian combination; and the richer districts which are formed from diamonds, rubies, and emeralds. Almost all the builds seemed to be carved directly from their respective materials, instead of pieces being attached together.
The Residential Districts that lie among the three sections are all relatively the same in purpose and design, with the Slums covered in rougher edges on all its buildings. The few Residential areas in The Marketplace are meant for traveling merchants to have a place to rent while they complete their transactions and stock up for the trip home.
The Marketplace itself has signs of various quality signifying the prices of their wares, the shinier usually meaning the more expensive.
The Political district in the Rich quarters is the one place where everyone is sure to visit if they want to live or sell stuff there. All wares that are sold in the city must be logged in the political chambers and a tax placed on them to be able to legally sell. Some merchants in The Marketplace refuse to pay the taxes, and are considered to be shady business to any law abiding traveler.
