It's been a while since I Roleplayed and I was just seeing if anyone would be interested in a one on one with me so I can get back in the groove. I am willing to build plot or anything, just hoping someone is interested. I can roleplay any type of character if you have a story in mind already, (I have a few of my own characters too of course) and I am into any style of roleplaying, from small talk and fluff to full out combat.

Hope to hear from someone soon  Cool

Well, I don't have anything solid yet but I have been mulling a few things in my head the last little while

I have one character, Daimir, who is a walking bucket of sass. I have a pretty well developed back story and everything for him, but as a character himself he is still relatively new to me so I was looking to go with him in the direction of possibly learning a new environment or city as he is a drifter and thus that's generally the situation I put him into but if you have any other ideas feel free to let me know. If wanted I can post some character sheets on here as well, as for other than that I'd like to do something in an already made world with new characters. I was thinking along the lines of Magic: The Gathering, Final Fantasy, or something else along those general lines (preferably that I actually know about but I don't mind reading up on it haha)

*whistle* looks like you got your self a fairly large conga line here Oramithebest! Razz

Let me know if you ever wanna do a final fantasy RP; I'm a pretty big fan. 'Fraid I don't know nothing about Magic; was always more a Yu-gi-oh kind of fan.

@rpannier

Well if you have anything you would like to roleplay I'd be interested in that too! I have a few OC's that should fit most plot lines and such but I don't mind what we roleplay, I'm just bored and would love the practice haha

@OddandOdd

Sure looks like it yeah, too bad I can't dance  Crying or Very sad

I'm always down for anything! I don't know what you like to RP but as I said I'm always ready to go!

Same here really! I'm up for anything, and sense you mentioned final fantasy I thought I'd offer.

I'm a big fan but haven't ever done a FF role play.

A couple of possibilities that slide out of my thoughts:

1. Futuristic Apocalypse style rp. Most people died (the cause can be unknown). Location is about anywhere. (thinking more Thunderdome than Terminator)

2. A Swords and Sorcery style rp (D&D original Forgotten Realms always comes to my mind)

3. Medieval where the characters are not warriors or magic users

@rpannier

Ironically, those are my three most experienced subjects, I played and still play D&D for years and we did a few post apocalyptic homebrews and such. I'd be up for any of those

I like them all up till about ten and up. Those just....really didn't make sense to me. :\

Especially....what was it...? It was either 11 or 12 and it really mucked up the world of my favorite game in the series (that would be tactics).

I also like kingdom hearts (just throwing it out there).

I'm happy to do any you like~ Very Happy

Also you play D&D? I always wanted to get into it but when my friend brought 15 rulebooks I got scared.  Laughing

I like post-apocalypse because it has broad possibilities in terms of story development. Most things they come across they can't use, depending on how long it's been since the apocalypse much of it could be rusted away, there are sparse areas of 'civilization', marauders, maybe some workable vehicles, depending on where and the type of disaster there could be limited resources, like water and food (but they could occasionally stumble across preserved food)

Either medieval rp works. I like the original Forgotten Realms world. I also like medieval where the characters are pretty plain (not wizards, or things like that) and they live a more everyday life.

I'll let you choose
I may offer in OOC one of the one's you don't choose for group rp

@OddandOdd

Yeah, I was always a big 7 nerd but I do believe it was 12 that tied into tactics... I can't remember for certain though. (Kingdom hearts is sweet btw) Yeah D&D can be intimidating at first but trust me, there are some games out there that are even worse. Go read like two chapters on the character creation for RIFTS and you'll understand. D&D is scary at first but it only took me 2 or three games to get used to it. In RIFTS I learn new things every five minutes.

@rpannier

I love both really, Post apocalyptic is usually better if you want a more fear or action based roleplay though, not saying medieval can't it's just easier with the whole brink of destruction bit. If I were to do a post-apocalyptic I'd probably base it off something akin to either Fallout or Metro, because god damn are those some amazing worlds.

Although Medieval could be really interesting, playing around with nobility and such even. I love political stories haha

@Ezekiel

Well if we start one, I'll be sure to let you know! I'm kinda getting a hankering for it myself now.

Ok! Wanna do a kingdom hearts RP? I've never done one before but it sounds like a simple and fun one to do as a warm up RP! I'm also game to do one on 7 if you'd prefer that.

And rpanner started an OOC for a group apocalypse RP; it's called the wasteland and should be the first on the list. : )

Also I might look into D&D again.

Especially after looking at RIFTS.

Accountants would fear that load of insanity...

Before Crisis Core? It's the only thing I see as possible.

Oh cool, I'll look into that apocalyptic post!

I would probably say a pre crisis core thing would be ideal, but not really affecting the main story would be difficult...

Possibly playing as some SOLDIER operators on a mission somewhere? maybe finding some sort of ultima weapon and trying to defend/defeat it?

I don't see why we have to avoid mucking up the story, and uh...how much plot is in CC? I've never played...^_^'

Well Crisis Core takes place 3 years before 7, and it follows Zack Fair's life in soldier. Its on the psp, so if you dont have one of those id recommend emulating it as it is very amazing.

My friend has it I'll go steal it from him.

I like the idea of going to find/protect/steal/transmosrph some kind of ultimate weapon.

...or maybe be wanna be hunter/heroes trying to hunt down the Ultimate weapon! lol
