Silly Super Hero RP

Hooray this is happening!

...So now we post our Characters right?

I think so.
I've never actually started an rp, just tagged onto already existing ones.

So I'll be playing Mathis McMaan, a 20 year old college student with an affinity for insects. I'm not sure how this came to be yet, but he can control them and, as his powers advance, can temporarily adopt qualities of nearby insects by touching them. For instance: If he touches an ant he's strong, if he touches a bee he can sting, etc.

I'll make a more detailed profile for him in my character list in the creator's corner.

Ok, my guy is Aquarius; he was the one in that game 'ask a character' and is already in the creators corner.

I haven't got the chance to use him out side that though, so this really is the first time I'm writing him out side a bit of dialogue.

In Short; his name is Aquarius, and he is a vase. He thinks he is a villain, but is far to bumbling and friendly to accomplish anything evil. He has an endless source of water within him, and can shoot the water out, but since he has no limbs it is hard from him to get around or aim with any amount of accuracy.

This is why I wanted something silly!

So maybe my weird little bug guy and your vase are archenemies?

I can't stop thinking of Perry the Platypus as I'm typing this.   

Yes, yes, *strokes invisible beard* I say we establish why in the actual RP! like have them meet up for the first time, or would you rather we start of slightly established that some unknown noodle incident caused their hatred?

Then again a hero should never like a villain.

...wait is your guy a hero, villain, or just starting off neutral?

I'd kind of like him to where he's just discovering his powers. I think it'll be fun to experiment with his learning how to use them.
He will be a hero eventually, though.

I might make a female villain with an affinity for lamps, too. She could be a spy for Aquarius posing as Matt's girlfriend?
That would be pretty fun.

Anyways, I'm thinking I'd like to leave it at an unknown noodle incident.
That's more than good enough for me.
I can't think of a reason to hate a vase.

Hmm...it is funny, but I really don't think Aquarius would be smart enough to even consider working with someone. maybe she could still be a villain and pose as a girlfriend, but maybe only drop hints for her fellow villain Aquarius?  

Well...Aquarius can shoot out water, and does like to sit in weird places waiting for people to walk up... *eyebrow waggile*  

Oh my gosh this is too good.   

Okay, so maybe she's the villain behind Aquarius's master plots and Matt is barking up the wrong tree?

Sounds like a plan! So I should probably go make that thing now shouldn't I? lol

Or do you want to go first? I'm bad with beginnings more complicated then a dark and stormy night.   

Also if I make another character it might be like a super serious hero/villain who will contrast nicely against our cast of minor hooligans. but only if we hit a runt or something, sound good?

Yeah, sounds great.
If I'm going first it'll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to bed soon and I hate typing long things on my ipod, which is the only way I can get on at school.

And honestly, for our silly hero roleplay, a dark and stormy night sounds like a perfect beginning.

Aww shucks your making me blush! I just like different things and I always strive to make my characters stand out even in really small obtuse ways.

What's even funnier is I made him on a whim when I was in fresh man year! You see I've had this idea for a comic or game inside my head since I was in fifth grade and over the years I've been polishing it and adding to it and just have been trying really really hard to make it good. Aquarius is part of it.

See I was thinking about how the zodiacs are a little over done and I was thinking of ways to make something original out of it. I just kinda noticed how in all depictions of Aquarius the person is always really different but the pot is basically the same. Heck the person's not even always there! So I was like let's making him a big vase! The whole villain thing just comes from my love of Saturday morning cartoons and since I keep him a static object (no cartoon physics here!) it just makes the image even funnier!
