PostSubject: Doc's Insanity.   Tue Dec 04, 2012 10:03 pm

Welcome to my insanity postings. I've heard at least one of you is interested in an article on my findings about supernatural abilities, psychic, and magic due to my research and personal experience. As a disclaimer I would like anyone reading this to take not that I am absolutely serious about this topic, and will find little humor in jokes and claims of any outlandish sort.

For now I'd like to begin with an article I wrote on energy in general, and how it applies to supernatural abilities/psychic/magic/ect.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Energy is a strange concept that can be found as a keystone within any energy practice under a multitude of names. Ki, Psy, Mana, and Astral Energy are some examples I've heard of in my studies. One such study said that all Psy energy that is commonly used for psychic practices also contains Ki which is used for various martial arts techniques and healing. This was an article I read when I started my journey into researching and learning psychic abilities, and while I can't say I'm an expert I can say that I know my way around decently enough to test things.

My first experiment was to see if Ki or Psy really "felt" different. With energy manipulation, since you rely on a sort of general 6th sense (or in my method a parallel sense with the energy body, but that's another article altogether) you tend to generalize it to a physical sense you already know. In my case it was touch, which gave me a distinct 'feel' for energy and how it flowed when I used it. To test my hypothesis I used method for gathering Psy by focusing on my head and gathering it into a psyball in my hand (for more information on a psyball, I can provide links to learn, but basically it's a ball of energy). I let it sit there for a moment, then I let it go and focused on my core (Dan Tien? I don't know how to spell the Chinese word) where Ki is generally said to be stored and brought energy from there. The energy felt the same, only the method gave a different initial sensation while it traveled to its location.

Inspired by this revelation, I tried bring from both areas at the same time. Doing so brought no change to the energy itself, but doubled the amount that was brought. Needless to say (hopefully) that as a beginner this gave me a headache which told me I was overloading myself, but this revelation changed the way I worked energy ever since. I began trying to draw it from anywhere: the sky, the earth, a tree, even my TV. Every time I got a slightly different method of transference but always the same feel of energy. Curious I looked up what other people thought and it appears that everybody is so caught up with calling it all these different names that deal with their own specific abilities and methods that they don't even realize they're all basically using the same stuff.

It wasn't until I was further into my personal psychic training that I could truly tell the difference between different energy types, when I unintentionally took a bit of energy from a friend while trying to read their "Psysig" (one's subconscious 'footprint' or 'signature' on their own energy according to psychic practitioners). I realized that the energy 'felt' like it belonged to them, but also felt like energy. From there I retested my theory with my own energy, as well as energy from the earth and various plants around my house. Each and every thing I tried had its own "Psysig" and its own feel, it's own texture if you will.

This led me to think: "Is energy everywhere? How can there be so many different types of energy and yet they all are the same." As well as plenty more testing and research. This research led me to various tangents and other things I learned, but that's a different story. The most interesting idea I had was upon reading a fantasy book that dealt with magic that used the concept that physical matter is merely a highly compact cluster of energy, eventually becoming mass. Going with this theory (that I will admit I'm having trouble testing due to the severe dislike of potentially causing miniature atomic bombs) It is possible to gather energy from anything physical, even possible to prove alchemy can be done by breaking down physical matter into raw energy and rearranging it before turning it back into a physical form.

Why practitioners choose some energy types over others I speculate is highly just tradition. I personally don't feel there is any difference between energy types aside from its signature and it's quantity, and have felt this myself through various tests of my hypothesis. I would love to be able to do more research on the possibility of materializing an idea of an object from energy into a physical form, but this is currently beyond my skill, knowledge, and resources. I hope you learned something, or at least are willing to test my ideas for yourself, and I hope you enjoyed my first article.

Very interesting. I have wondered if there was any difference between the different "forms" of energy. I have not personally felt the difference you describe, but I also have not done much in the way of experimentation. I would love to know more details about your findings. I need to do some more research on my own as well - reading this has re-sparked my interest in the subject.

My next 'article' I was gonna write was on my theory of the energy body (which is also technically a work in progress due to a few missing bits of information I can't quite grasp)

I'll have this out tomorrow (on this thread), and with it my "method" for effectively using what everybody calls "the sixth sense" (yea i know, vague . . . it'll hopefully make sense when I post the article)

Edit: Thank you +D was so caught up in what to put up next that I almost forgot! Really, thank you! +D

Well, since everybody seems to be enjoying my findings as much as I enjoy posting them +P It seems I may have a few more I could be posting for everybody. Especially since I have alot I can write about that really doesn't match with other sources I've found so far.

Enough of my rambling: here's my theory of the "Energy Body" and the "Sixth sense(s)" (it's pretty lengthy, but alot of information I've gather is put into this) (Edited due to energy organs information missing. If you read before reaching that, it's the second to last paragraph)
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Everybody knows that nobody truly knows what the spirit is. While I'm not claiming to know either, I've looked into a few internal methods of energy and how they relate to how I have experienced energy. I personally started with Ki methods, which practically monopolize the internal methods, so I've done a bit more study and application on eastern method than anything western. That said, there's still some stuff I'm not entirely sure on, as well as some parts to this that are merely theory (and still untested due to needing more data than just from myself).

Let me start at the beginning, You and your physical body are two different things. As weird as that may sound, think about it: do you really make a conscious effort to keep your heart pumping, or to breath air? In the case I'm talking about, "you" is your consciousness, but not quite your brain. "you" is your Mind, the midway between corporeal and incorporeal. The Mind controls the Physical, and the Energy bodies. However, since we all grew up in a society that is entirely engrained in physical rather than energy, we tend to not realize that the energy body exists; allowing it to never truly grow except to match the physical body in size, but not in density.

The Mind is the middle ground of the two bodies, and receives the senses from both bodies and perceives them in a way that makes the most sense to you. As with the physical body having the senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste; the energy body has equivalents that perceive energy rather than physical senses. So the Energy body would be able to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch energy rather than physical "matter". Normally, the Energy body overlaps the physical body (which sometimes leads to an "Aura" effect) and can sometimes help it if you focus on moving both in harmony (more on this in a bit). In my experiences, everything physical also has energy in it: so don't expect to be able to put your hand through walls easily if you try and disconnect the energy body from the physical one (more on this in a bit, again).

In fact, on the topic of sensing energy is a theory I would like to be able to test with more people. Everybody has a sense with which they learn best with, for some people it's seeing, others hearing, and still others movement. In a psychology class in high school, I learned I was a 'Kinetic learner' which means I learn best by physical movement. It took me quite a while to bridge this gap to my realization of how I perceive energy, but eventually it dawned on me that I 'feel' energy more than I can 'see' or 'hear' energy. This has led me to a theory that whatever sense is strongest (potentially the sense you learn best with) is also the sense more directly linked in the mind, and by the same logic the energy body. So "In Theory", if you are a visual learner you may be able to 'see' energy better if you become an energy practitioner, as well as if you are an auditory learner you may be able to 'hear' energy better. I am a 'kinetic learner' meaning I learn best by physically moving and doing things (and therefore touching them), and I've noticed I'm much better at 'feeling' energy rather than seeing it.

Back on topic, all energy senses are available once you know how to use your energy body. The easiest way to use your energy body is actually a method I've learned quite a while ago while learning how to Ki Punch (which I somewhat disproved is actually a 'Ki Punch', but that in a bit). Try moving your arm, feel how the muscles move in your arm. Once you get a feel of how your arm moves, try moving it again without having your arm move. If you can do this successfully, you are actually moving your Energy arm rather than your physical one. Once you are able to move your entire body without moving your physical body, you've halfway mastered the technique, but I'll go over that kind of thing more in the next article.

With the energy body, it's pretty much a modified copy of the physical body. There's energy organs that function for the energy body and allow it to continue to exist (even when most nobody uses it), as well as allow the energy senses. The "energy skin" is basically a shell that allows touch to be perceived, "energy eyes" and/or possibly the "third eye" allows the sense of sight with energy, as well as other energy versions of sensory organs exist. Don't worry too much about the energy organs for now, that's something for "Plane walking" (and the next article). The basics I will go over however are the main organs which I've found to correspond with the "Chakras" in eastern systems. The energy organs I've found are: The Brain (receives energy perceptions, close enough to ears to count for perception of hearing (for me)), The Eyes (energy sight perception), The Throat (voice box, may be used for telepathy?), The Heart (which ironically seems to mirror the placement of the physical heart to me, more on this in a bit), The Lungs (gather energy by breathing, located more where the diaphragm is), The Stomach (stores energy that's not in use, converts physical food into energy (need to research this more)), and one more which would mimic the "Root Chakra" that I personally can't seem to pinpoint. The Energy Heart also controls a network of veins across the energy body that seem to match the eastern system's Meridian Lines, It's very possible the reason energy-workings can be lethal is because energy in these "Meridian Lines" act as blood for the energy body. Along the same lines as that theory is the possibility that the Energy and Physical bodies need each other to fully survive, Hence why one may work to strengthen the other in times of need (more on this in a bit).

A quick concept I'd like to go over before this article ends is something I like to call "Energy-Physical Duality". In a sense, it's moving both the energy and physical bodies at the same time in the same way. So a traditional "Ki Punch" is really (in my opinion) punching with the physical and energy bodies at the same time. It may be possible to move the physical and energy bodies in opposite directions, but personally every time I try this I get either distracted (then snapping the energy body back to where the physical body is) or really bad mental burnout (aka really bad burning headache caused by too much energy-workings in one day, rumored to potentially cause brain damage? Not too sure, but It's defiantly not a good thing to continue with burnout, just stop and clear your head for a while of everything (hence why everybody loves meditation with energy-working)).

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Final disclaimer I have to put in for personal reasons, is that if I find out that anybody I know has learned how to do energy and is using it for malicious intent (ESPECIALLY if I taught them anything) I will personally hunt down and end. Not simply kill (if killed at all), not simply stopped, Ended. This is to insure that people aren't causing chaos with forces that few can really stop in this day and age, as well as a personal responsibility as one who is teaching people (through articles) how to do such things.

Also, related to second disclaimer at end of article: If you start working with energy, please let me know so I can help you as best I can with resources and possibly training buddy +P I have two friends who know a little but don't really give a shit, so really all my experience is self-driven and backed by my ability to reproduce my findings by cleaning the slate of what i've done so far. It'd be nice to be able to help others, and all I ask in return is a wee bit of help with proving theories (by testing them yourself if your bored+capable+willing)
