Important features of the city

The City in the Trees is a surprisingly easy city to transverse compared to the jungles that surround it. Residential Districts dot the city on the bottom few floors of the city, with the Slums section partially underneath the roots of the great trees that hold up the city.

Most of the city is connected by bridges made from vines and leaves that stretch together and are stronger than many types of leather. The most prominent examples of these are on the middle levels where the merchants and gardeners work to cultivate their plants to be able to assist with the general day to day needs of transportation between the top and bottom of the trees in the village.

The upper levels are generally where people are shuffling papers in their offices and keeping everything organized in the city so far as politics, taxes, and trading goes.

The people of the jungle village are generally pretty relaxed, but quick and decisive to act. The citizens that don't work on improving the quality of the plant life that improves quality of normal life usually hunt and fish in the various wilds around the village that they grew up in. Needless to say, if you have a friend in the village and get lost, you only need to shout their name and wait before they escort you to the safety of the city.
