Arrival in the Multiverse

Sconosciuto is a world between worlds. A part of many dimensions, while still remaining its own, Sconosciuto creates natural wormholes into other worlds that manifest as a shimmering portal or surface. These shimmering portals connect all known worlds together with Sconosciuto as a crossroads of sorts.

Although portals can be found from other world almost anywhere, they have a much higher chance of dumping their load somewhere in the center of the world. This is one of the few things that was stressed in the creation of Sconosciuto by the gods, so as not to drop anyone in areas of danger on their first visit, as well as to make sure they wouldn't become lost in the wilderness of the four corners.
