As Zeke charged the man he watched him reload his guns and was completely unprepared for when he switched to melee and used the blade on his revolver to grab the buster sword and pull it away, Zeke's grip on the sword was too great for him to let go soon enough to avoid being jerked with the blade. But as the man pulled him, Zeke would let go of the blade and spin, grab his katana and try to slash the man. While at the same time he released the throwing knife flying towards the man, killing much of its momentum. It should still have enough force to stab into the man, but not to go through and stab Zeke as well.

As Zeke tried to slash the man he would shoot a scythe of wind towards the man's arm in case the man tryed to keep a hold of the buster sword, he hoped to catch the man in a place he couldnt escape from, either being slashed from the katana or stabbed with the knife. But things hadn't gone as planned so far, and the cracks he noticed on the roof troubled him. He knew if they got much larger part or all of it could collapse. He felt uncomfortable without the buster sword within arm's length of him, and he definitely didn't want the man having possession of it. He had worked too hard to steal it originally.

Rakk, his grip on the buster blade, flung his new prize away from him. Hearing the audible clink of metal as he spun himself around for the backhand, Rakk smiled as he reasoned that he may have just foiled a trick from the man and decided to flick out the switchblade for his second revolver.

His flick was only a second too late from the blade imbedding itself in his side as the blade slid down the side of the katana. Quickly using this new position to his advantage, Rakk would twist his wrist so that the curved blade would disarm his target, while in the same movement have him aiming from the head to the gut.

The weapon embedded in his ribs, Rakk knew he should get that out asap before the change in his mobility was his downfall. Unaware that the wind had cut deeper than the blade itself, his eyes showed how much he loved the opportunity to rid his target of his best tools while orchestrating their demise.

Zeke let go of his katana as the man disarmed him, seeing the very deep cut the wind had caused. He saw the man aiming at his gut and knew he'd have to act quickly. He knew he couldn't dodge a shot at this range so he immediately drew on the surrounding fires to boost his adrenaline to soften the pain. If the man shot him with one of his exploding bullets he would use the resulting fire to instantly cauterize the wound and completely absorb it to revitalize himself. Assuming this worked out, he would try to close the small distance between him and the man, attempt to grab his forearm and either break it or disarm him. At this point he knew it'd be foolish to try and recover his swords, so he'd try to stay at a close enough distance to prevent the man from using either of them or shooting.

If the man didn't try to shoot him, he would still try to close the distance and attempt a disarm and in failing that, he'd force wind into the cracks on the roof, and force it too collapse, causing them both too fall. He hoped he wouldn't have to resort to this, as he didn't know if he could survive. But if he went down, he/d to everything he could to take the other man with him. He cursed that the man blocked the throwing knife without realizing it. As that was his biggest plan to end the battle.

Rakk quickly fired into the man's gut while he had the chance, turning his left arm skyward and raining fireballs down to finish him off if he escaped. Rakk felt a strange feeling where his right lung should be as the explosions went off in his targets gut, and had a sinking feeling of dread as he realized how serious of a wound he received.

It was just this point where his arm was grabbed by his very target, a hole in his gut but otherwise no worse for wear. Rakk did something he would never have admitted at this point and panicked. Turning himself to fire and wrapping it around his guns, Rakk reformed far above his target as the flaming guns flew up toward him. The reformation left him slightly dazed, as all teleportation does, but otherwise he seemed in peak condition. His cloths and possibly his body seemed to have reformed from the teleportation and showed no sign of ever having been cut other than a new bloodlust in his eyes for the hit he had taken.

Grabbing his guns as they flew up, Rakk had little chance to dive back down as he was struck in the side of the head by a well placed stone that sailed through the air with surprising accuracy.

Zeke was unsurprised when the man teleported away, he started to move to pick up his swords when he almost fell over in pain, with his adrenaline fading the pain from the gunshot hit him in full force. He stumbled forward and picked up his blades, unaware that someone else had joined the fight. He stumbled to the edge of the building and fell. He was starting to lose consciousness and couldn't properly control the wind. He feared he was going to die.

As he fell he felt a shift in the air and was suddenly being carried through one of the buildings. He knew it couldn't be the flaming man, as he would most likely just kill him. It wasn't until he felt his burns fade away and his other injuries heal that he realized it was Zer0. He almost smiled as his friend saved him. And couldn't argue his impeccable timing.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zer0 was returning from scouting around the forest surrounding the city he and Zeke had taken refuge in. When he heard the sounds of fighting and a gunshot. He didn't think any two bit bounty hunter could have gotten past him. But he rushed towards the sound of the shot, as he knew Zeke wouldn't allow a normal bounty hunter to even get a shot off before he killed them.

As he rushed towards the source he could tell a lot of fighting had been going on as there were burned buildings, He had doubted Zeke would be so careless unless it was necessary to be. Or it wasn't him. As he dashed through the city he saw a figure floating in the air, it didn't look like Zeke, it was much too tall. It was at this point he saw his friend falling through the air.

He Gathered his strength and jumped to catch him, and moved himself to where he'd fly through a window. As soon as he landed he started pouring his healing energy into Zeke. When he saw his friend open his eyes and smile a bit. He breathed a sigh of relief.

Rakk fell from the sky, cursing violently in his high pitched voice on his way down. Landing with an audible and disturbing crunching sound to anyone in the area, Rakk seemed content to thrash on the ground with his many broken limbs until he calmed down. Once he calmed down however, he noticed his brother walking over to him with another rock hefted to toss.

Awkwardly righting himself, Rakk began relocating joints as his brother chastised him. Well aware that he may have went overboard, Rakk seemed content to fixing himself up and mending his broken bones with extra fire. Eventually he would start catching his brother up on recent events as he continued, so that the two were on the same page.

Soku nodded at that his accuracy was sufficient and grabbed another rock from the ground. He had seen the fires quite some ways away and knew he had better stop his brother before he went too far out of control. Walking up to his brother, his a yellow fire in front of his left eye died before he began his usual opening.

"Hey there you fiery shitstain! Good to see your keepin good care of not going total fire psycho as usual."

After a while of catching up and learning of the situation while his brother fixed himself up, Soku helped his brother up and shook his head at the fact that he was almost two feet taller than him. Soku was aware he was the shortest of his brothers, but that didn't mean it wasn't still a sore spot with him. Putting this aside for the moment, Soku let Rakk tell him more before reluctantly agreeing to help him end this so they could afford a better place to crash every once and a while. Rakk's previous bounty hunting endeavors sometimes went awry, the last one in particular ended up with half of their house turned to charcoal.

PostSubject: Re: Ezekiel vs Random, A Drinking game   Ezekiel vs Random, A Drinking game - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMon Jul 30, 2012 11:28 pm

Zeke had started telling Zer0 of the man who had been hunting him, and the subsequent fight and overview of his abilities as he saw them. It wasn't long into this conversation before they both heard a voice screaming curses and a loud crunching sound. "What the hell?" It didn't take long for them to rush over to a window facing the sound and try to peer out, they saw the man, and another figure, they seemed to be talking as the tall one was fixing multiple broken bones. He couldn't tell much from the shorter one, although the two seemed to be at least partially friendly to each other. They both seemed so.... inhuman... He couldn't help but be abit worried about the newcomer, the other one had been enough of a challenge.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zer0 listened intently to what Zeke was telling him. Trying to take note of what the man can do, and trying to think of a way to kill him, if a slice deep enough to almost hit the spine barely fazed him, he knew they were in trouble. He reacted much in the same as Zeke when he heard the curses and crunch sound. Yet he felt differently about the two, he could tell they fought a lot. When he saw the tall one snapping his bones back into place he was unnerved, he couldn't believe Zeke had been fighting against something so inhuman.

As they both moved away from the window Zer0 handed Zeke a pistol. "As much as you may not like them, it may come in handy." They walked through and started talking about a plan, they had no idea if the two men would work together, but they had to prepare if they do, they had no idea what the other one was capable of.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zeke and Zer0 left the house and he slipped the pistol into a holster, they left the building and tried to put distance between them and the bounty hunters, Zeke had started watching the wind, trying to gauge their movements to see if they'd move to pursue or look for them. Other than that he kept the wind natural and only blowing slightly. He hoped they could get away but he was highly doubting they could make it out of the city or through the forest without being spotted or fighting the two. He gripped his katana as he walked with Zer0, both of them on edge.

Rakk wasn't exactly happy he had his brother helping him, but knew it would help speed things up. Finished getting everything fixed, Rakk prepped his revolvers and swapped out the barrel for a similar one made to corkscrew the rounds fired for extra velocity. Half paying attention to his brother who seemed to be deep in thought, Rakk tested out his configurations with a few blank shots to the ground to make sure everything was still working correctly.

Soku, deep in thought about the whole situation, decided it was best to get going with this. 'Better to finish up anything unpleasant before having fun after all' Soku thought to himself before asking, "So where is this target of yours?"

"No clue, you caught me before I could go after him again." Rakk responded as he scanned the area. Smiling at first, then scowling as he realized there were two figures looking at him, Rakk pointed toward the window. "You wanna go first this time?"

Smiling at his newfound targets, Soku made a quick decision to grab a weapon before going over. Stomping on the ground before him, a hilt made of stone popped up. Happy that it was the size he wanted for a large sword, Soku walked over and broke the hilt off of the ground with an surprising grace for such an accident.

With a grunt of annoyance, Soku stabbed the hilt back into the ground and pulled it up to reveal a well crafted buster sword. Looking it over as if he knew it had some sort of imperfection, Soku smacked the flat of the blade once or twice, causing dirt to fall off as the edge seemed to sharpen. Soku repeated this a few times until he was satisfied, then hefted it on his shoulder and walked toward the two.

Once he reached what he was sure was the halfway point between them and his brother, Soku would call out to them. "Hey there. Which one of you is the one with the bounty on his head? I'd appreciate it if you could help us because we could really use the money since my brother torched our last house." Smiling at how he knew his brother would yell at him for being so blunt, Soku would merely stand there and wait politely for an answer. He didn't know much about these two, but he had the feeling that the one thing they'd never do is be rude to someone they don't know.

It didn't take long before Zeke realized the tall man had seen them, he told Zer0 to get away. told him to get to a tactical position, and first chance he got, shoot them both. He would hold them off in close range and hope they were actually killable. As Zer0 started to argue he gave him a look that told him how necessary it was for him to listen. "These are not opponents we can take head on, I can hold them off for a time."

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As he listened to Zeke's order he started to protest, "If one of them was as strong as you say, you cant possibly hold them both off." He shut up when he saw Zeke's cold glare. It had been a long time since he saw his friend so serious, and he knew he could fight as long as he needed, and maybe even win. "If it starts too look like you're in trouble, I'm coming back" He dashed away and started to jump to the top of a building, when he reached it, he pulled out his revolver and started charging his Chaos rounds. He wouldn't give a chance for this too get out of hand.

He would watch for the two, if they engaged Zeke in battle. He'd take the first opening and send a bullet through one of their heads. He doubted the tall man could regenerate with a missing head. Yet he still felt uneasy, even with Zeke's cold determination, he knew this would be a grueling battle.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zeke turned to face the direction where the two would advance from. He drew his katana and allowed the blade to shine in the sun, he let the wind idle, yet had his senses ready to have it moving his body in less than a second's notice. With Zer0 around he could afford to be a bit more reckless, yet not too much, especially with the newcomer around. He wondered what the other man's abilities were as he prepared himself for the oncoming battle/

It was Rakk that noticed that brother was talking to an empty building. Frowning to himself as he watched his brother fumble with his weapon, Rakk surveyed the area to get an idea of where they were before starting to recharge some ammo he had shot off. He waited a bit to let his brother feel stupid before calling out to him and pointing in the direction where he had spotted a blade shining in the sun.

"Hey Stonehead! Over there!"

Soku furrowed his brow at his brother as he looked over to where his brother was pointing. Walking over in frustration to get around the building where he seemed to be pointing, Soku was surprised to see a man there with a sword. He took quick note of the sword and its capabilities as he selected one of the spirits in his body that would best counter it with the weapon he had chosen. Of course this choosing wouldn't have any outward effects until he invoked it, but Soku still tried his best not to make a strange face as he walked into a clearing to face the man.

"Hey there. How are you?" Soku said, smiling courteously at the man who seemed quite tense. Rightfully so, considering they both had weapons at the ready and were both within striking distance of each other. "I was hoping you could help my brother and I locate a bounty so we could pay our rent. I'd rather not like to have to use this here, so if you could just tell us where to find them that would help us out a whole lot"

Lifting his stone buster sword while talking, Soku smiled more honestly as he placed it carefully back on his shoulder. He wasn't sure how good the man was with weapons, but was rather sure he could best him alone if it came to a fight with blades only.

Looking on interested, Rakk holstered a gun to cover his face with one hand. He knew it was bad luck to have a brother helping, but the fact that it was Soku made his hopes for an easy fight impossible. Especially since he insisted on his 'manners'

Zeke was surprised at the manners the man displayed, yet it only put him more on edge. The man was in striking distance now, with the taller one farther off, that also worried him, he knew he was a good marksman. He was more surprised to see the shorter man with a stone makeshift buster sword, wondering how well he could use it, or if he was even fast enough to fight a katana with it. He stayed silent, and tried to figure out the man's intentions, he figured if he didn't answer or tried to flee he'd attack.

So Zeke would try to take the first move by immediately changing the wind and allowing it to push his body as he would move to slash the shorter man, hoping the wind would augment his speed enough to catch him completely off guard and finish the battle quickly. If he was anything like the taller man, Zeke doubted it would work, but he also doubted the shorter man would make it through unscathed.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zer0 had taken a vantage point on top of a medium sized building overlooking the clearing where Zeke was at. He had aim on the man closer to Zeke the whole time until he felt a change in the wind, when he knew Zeke was making his move, he would switch he sights to the other man and stop him from shooting Zeke if he tried, he had a clear shot at him, but at his current distance he would have a decently hard time hitting him with his revolver. The bullets would be too slow, especially with Chaos acting on them. Zeke hadn't been real clear about how fast the man was, but being as inhuman as he was, Zer0 didn't want to take the chance.

Seeing the man come at him with speed faster than that of a normal human, Soku had little choice between dodging and blocking. His left eye flaring up in a golden flame, Soku lifted his left heel and tapped it down; keeping his toes planted so as not to lose his balance. Transferring this movement to the earth below, Soku raised himself on a pedestal of stone 7ft high.

Shrugging one shoulder on his rise and swapping his hand position, Soku timed his buster blade to swing over his head and stab downward just as the katana reached the pedestal. The spirit of blades that flared in his left eye controlled his arm, giving it a surge of power that handled the blade as light as a butter knife; as well as the accuracy of a sniper. Despite this, he knew his weapon was untreated stone and would break with enough effort, although that wouldn't stop the large weapon from cleaving bone by weight alone.

Rakk felt a change in the wind as he knew the battle had started with his brother. Sliding his hand from his face, Rakk felt the gaze upon him before he saw its owner. Smiling at both the fact that there was a newcomer, and that he was also using a revolver, Rakk bowed to the man gracefully. Knowing that this was a signal that he knew he was being watched, Rakk pulled his second revolver as he rose and took a few shots at the man who seemed to want a ranged battle so badly. Knowing that the wind would mess with his aim slightly, Rakk aimed to pinpoint in the solar plexus; mostly because the slight deviation in trajectory the wind would cause on his crystallized fire would insure that the rounds found their mark within one foot of his target.

Zeke was surprised when the man raised himself up on a stone pedestal, he had almost decided to go ahead with the slash and cut through it when he saw the man about to bring the sword down on him, he shifted the wind to a strong gust to the side as he slightly hopped and twisted his body as the wind carried him to spin away from where the blade would hit, as he did this he chopped the air with his hand and sent a scythe of wind flying towards the man.

He would then dash about 15 feet back after he hit the ground and hold his blade in a defensive stance ready for whatever the man would do.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zer0 had seen the taller man notice him and watched as he bowed, he then saw him fire several bullets to match with the wind, Zer0 aimed his shots to counter the tall man's and fired, as he did this he flicked a switch to allow the second barrel of the revolver to be used and quickly reloaded and fired 6 more shots at the man, he reloaded again right after he shot.

He jumped from his chosen building and landed on a smaller one and started running towards the man, doubting his initial shots would have hit him, he hoped to flank him while he was distracted by them.

imbedding the tip of his blade in the earth, Soku felt the blade of wind carve into his weapon. Tapping his heel back to the ground to lower the pedestal, Soku repaired his weapon before swinging it back up to his original location on his shoulder. Smiling at the prospect of an agile opponent, Soku swing the blade to the guard position in front of him; only his left eye, seemingly blinded by the yellow flame in front of it, peered over the weapon.

Focusing on the blade itself, specifically the quality, Soku began refining it by connecting it with his spirit through his left hand that was pressed on it to steady the guard. His goal was to reform the stone by transforming it into hematite, a form of crystallized iron, thus doubling its weight.

Rakk continued firing at his target as it moved, dully noting the black fireballs that approached at an agonizing slow pace to his liking. He would have loved to have a taste of the man's flame, and wished the fireballs he shot would fly faster as his target ran toward him. Firing to both sides to hit the man as he ran toward him, Rakk noticed almost a second too late that the fireballs weren't made of fire that flew at him.

Diving backwards to avoid the majority of the curious flames, Rakk cursed aloud as one hit the barrel of his right revolver and destroyed it. Eyes alight again at the prospect of a worthwhile opponent, Rakk began laughing as he ran toward the open door of a nearby building to recover what he could. Firing a few more times at the ground his new "friend" has to cover to slow him down with the explosions, Rakk holstered his left revolver and began rapidly swapping parts on his right; dropping the unusable barrel to the ground as he replaced it. He knew he might have only a few seconds to get it working, but was having too much fun with thoughts of his new weapon modifications to care.

Zeke watched as the man lowered himself, and took a guarding position, he was surprised to see the man's blade changing composition and was getting excited a bit excited about having a skilled opponent, one that he can actually fight head on. As he watched the man he was formulating several different strategies to fight him. As he thought he couldn't help but think of trying to play around a bit, truly test this man's abilities with a sword, especially one as large and unwieldy as a buster sword could be. Or maybe even catch him off guard and finish it fast.

He returned the katana to it's sheath and grabbed his buster sword and let his arm rest at his side, causing the blade to slightly scrape against the ground. He kept the wind blowing randomly and started drawing on the tall man's bullet's fires to give him more energy, the second the other man moved to attack, Zeke would move to rush him.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zer0 watched the tall man's revolver barrel be destroyed by his shot and smiled, it wasn't until he started charging forward that he saw the bullets the man had shot at the ground in front of him. He assumed they were like the other bullets and would explode so he jumped over the ground where the bullets should hit, as he jumped he charged up pure chaos 'bullets' and fired them along with regular bullets charged with chaos. He intended to try and hit the man through the building. As he tried to close the distance between the two of them.

Soku stood still, knowing that the man was waiting for him. In his experience with sword users that preferred katana's they would always wait for an opportunity rather than create one, so Soku knew he had plenty of time to insure his weapon was in peak condition. Peak condition with what he had planned, was at least two tons of metal and sharp enough to slice a falling eyelash, which he knew would take a moment of focus that he was gratefully allowed up to this point.

Seeing as how he had a bit extra time, Soku worked out the handle of a machete in his left hand as a green flame appeared in his right eye. Hidden behind the blunt side of his buster blade, Soku knew his new weapon and green flame in his eye would surprise him at the very least. Making sure to finish up both weapons at the same time, Soku struggled slightly to keep from rushing at his target. A slight flinch of his left foot raising his heel off the ground escaped him, but he had managed to stop from charging like an idiot into his own weapon.

Rakk stood finishing up the last few modifications on his gun as the bullets flew through the walls and past him. The thought of an active opponent made Rakk grin crookedly as he brought what looked more like a minigun than a revolver toward the direction the bullets fired from. Pulling halfway on the trigger, Rakk let the strange multi-barrel system start whirring as he screamed.

"Shotgun shotgun on the wall!"

A second later he would pull the trigger fully and unleash rapid firing fireballs with 1mm sized crystals inside. The fireballs would fly through the wall and explode to give it a sort of shotgun spread, virtually creating a wall of fire and shrapnel from the sheer speed that the rounds hit the wall. At this point Rakk didn't even care if anything was flying at him, only standing there and aiming his right "revolver" at the general direction with his left revolver ready to snipe if he got too close or far away.

Zeke stood, watching the man, trying to gauge his intentions. He could tell the man wanted to charge him, and Zeke couldn't help but smile and lift the buster sword and point it directly at the man, taunting him. He hoped this would cause him to charge as he made the wind blow towards the man, ready to have it intensify if he needed a speed boost.

He reached out with his other hand in the direction of the fires, and pulled them over and compressed them into a ball in his hand, and he looked at the man, watching his every move.

As Zer0 was rushing towards the building, he heard the man speak, and not even a few seconds later saw, the wall of flame that was rapidly advancing towards him, and jumped out of the way, barely dodging it, as he hit the ground he ran, sprinting as fast as he could to get around the building, firing chaos bullets at where the flame had come from, as he ran he ran he kept firing, when he ran out of ammo he started firing pure essence.

He would jump against a nearby building and wall jump to land on top of another building, hoping the man wouldn't know he did, as soon as he landed he would reload his revolver, and look at the building the man was in, trying to figure out if he had moved.
