Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeSat Jul 07, 2012 1:45 am

Challenger:Davak

New Phylis Castle looms, blocking the grey weather and the gagged sun behind a turret. The banners of purple struggle against their restraints that are snapped onto the wall. The colour continued along the rows. Two long lines of The Black Fox's purple army stood in two rows, making a violet hallway towards the large doors to the entrance hall of the castle. As you walk, long trumpets will sound, announcing your arrival to the Tournament. You are here to test your metal, skill, daring and cunning against what Lord Kyrios deems the strongest from the worlds he's claimed. His generals stand between the creature himself.

Not a whole lot is known about him. From what the people of New Phylis know, he is a mighty warrior and powerful, almost god-like creature that carries the power of death to use on his enemies. He can lay crops to waste and render a man's strength that of an infants. He is regularly known as 'The Black Fox' just from his description. They're all in favour of the Lord's hunger for an empire, and keen to see it grow. They seem to be happy, making armour, weapons or researching all day. Talk of a 'Disgusting Red Foxes', one's called 'Tyro' by some of the researchers or scientists, are usually followed by something to the effect of "The Empire will crush them all!"

Those people are behind the men in purple, screaming and shouting. The noise makes it hard to get the whole gist but it seems like "Go home now!" and "No one beats The Empire's elite!" As the doors open before you, the trumpeting reaches its climax and stops. You walk in, of course, to have the doors closed.

Then locked behind you, nothing but the crowd to liven up the silence.

Nothing but a small whirring could be heard in the massive hall. Massive pains of glass flooded light upon the marble pillars. Stacks of clockwork or electronic things - clocks, toys, Game Boys, phones, remote controls- and explosives - dynamite, C4, bottles of vodka even - on the fine tiled floor in black and white. More purple banners are hung from the walls. The whirring came from the rafters above, metal platforms hanging between the panes of glass in the ceiling

Davak has been walking for hours, The Afraid controlling the body as the others fought. He knew if he didn't make it to the castle, and the tournament, the others would team up on him. Last time they had, he had almost disappeared, and that was what scared him the most. For it was a little known fact, but The Afraid was actually the first one there, and the original Davak. He never wanted to hurt anyone, or use his powers, but then the others came and he couldn't get rid of them. So he was forced to move on, as the others fought. The Light was against it, but eventually agreed to leave The Child in control, and only to interfere if The Darkness did, or it was required to keep the body intact. The Afraid was worried about this agreement, but knew better than to start the topic with them.

A terrified look in his eyes, Davak walked the hallway with his hands together in front of him as if in prayer. He was visibly shaking and seemed on the verge of tears to anyone who looked hard enough. More than once, Davak jumped at the sounds of trumpets and cheers directed toward him. Regardless, he proceeded onwards, not wanting to lose to the wars of his own mind.

The entire walk, The Child looked through Davak's eyes. Enjoying the purple and loving the layout of the entire arena, Especially all the curious people in the audience. Eventually reaching the area, The Child threw The Afraid from the control chair, causing Davak's body to break out in a seizure. The Child, taking control, Made Davak look hopeful and almost innocent. A wide smile on his face, Davak ran toward the pile of mechanics and began to sort through it. Pulling out all the purple items he could, as well as anything else that pulled his interest, Davak sat down and would begin to play with them as a child plays with random objects he finds around the house.

Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Re: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeSat Jul 07, 2012 4:54 pm

A rumbling cackle tumbles from wall to all like watching the ripples spread across the surface of water. It was closer to an instrument of mood than anything of mirth and merriment. In the traditional sense, at least.

No, it was a dirty and low chuckle one lets loose when fresh sport has arrived.

The scuffed, black shoes lightly tread towards Davak with all the tender care of placing down a child. Once sufficiently close, a white hand grabs the large key. With every turn, loud clicks judder forth from the object in her hand until the device was wound up just enough.

Carefully, she tosses the object onto the pile of assorted items in front of Davak. A toy monkey in a bright blue waistcoat and fez, fur dyed white except for under the fez with a symbol in both hand. The extra wires, and duck tape raise a little suspicion but not as much as the red lips the monkey currently sported, curling into a forced grin.

The symbols clash together as the little monkey brings it's arms together. Somewhere in the toy begins looping the sound of manic giggling.

She watches anxiously from above.

Davak, suddenly bored with the toys before him, turned and threw them over on the pile again. It was almost too late he noticed the monkey, but when he did the discarded toys stopped in midair. Eyes glowing purple, Davak maintained his control over his powers as he studied the new object before him. To anyone watching, it would merely seem as if the boys eyes glowed and a small layer of energy surrounded the floating objects as he performed an act many would call Telekinesis.

That's only on the surface, for inside his head The Child stared at this new toy with a strange disinterest. The Light and The Darkness both sensed something was wrong with it, both for their own reasons. The Afraid knew it was some sort of trap, and scanned the area with a stream of energy by laying a hand on the controlling chair. It didn't take long for The Light and The Darkness to resume their fighting over what to do, The Afraid scanning the area and The Child staring at the toy like it was a diamond.

Davak's body, in result of all this conflict in his head, merely tilted his head in curiosity. A few seconds passed before the monkey began laughing, which made Davak smile wide. Scattering the toys he was holding with his energy, Davak pointed to his eye. In a voice that seemed too highpitched for a man, but just about right for a boy of the age of about 8, Davak sung playfully "I Spy with my little eye."

Not having a care in the world other than fun, Davak worked energy around the monkey. The Afraid made sure to put a shield in front of the body to assure himself that The Child didn't plan anything self destructive. Focusing the energy intently, it seemed to have its own weight around the monkey as Davak continued singing while moving his finger to point at the monkey. "Something that go, BOOM!" Upon pointing at the Monkey, filled with energy, Davak would send a spark from his finger that would ignite the monkey and combust the energy similar to a large firecracker.

Pushed back from the force of the explosion he created, Davak would fall onto his back and begin laughing. In his head The Light and The Darkness would fight harder than ever, The Light saying how much of a bad idea this was while The Darkness pressed that it would be worth it. The Afraid would see the explosion and jump back from the chair, lest he felt the force himself.

Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Re: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeSun Jul 08, 2012 5:50 am

"Thaaaat's the spirit, my friend!" She said, grinning widely with ruby lips. The colour extended far past the edges of her mouth. "That's how you play! So many wonder though here and there's nothing to them but desire for riches and glory." She opens the raggedy purple suit jacket revealing a small armoury hanging from there. She keeps the knives for later and the party popper to then choose the revolver.

"It's so nice to find a playmate, isn't it?" He points and shoots, causing a ridiculously sized explosion for such a weapon. So large that it doesn't manage to shoot straight as she staggers backwards into the railing behind her.

The gun had fired a flag into one of the toys on the pile Davak was lying on. The pole had managed to go straight through but you could pull the flag itself out and see that, on a red background, it said "Bang!" in bold letters. She was still giggling as she stood up.

Room One: Zoe 'Quip' Ellas

"I forgot all about that. Ah well..." She said, dropping the revolver in her hand to then reach for something else on the ground.
"Who needs accuracy when you have bullets the size of yams?" This next revolver was a bout 10 times larger. While the handle and trigger was the correct size to be used, the barrel, the hammer and the bullet chambers looked big enough to be from a tank. The monstrous gun/cannon clangs against the railing she had to keep it on, lining up the shot. The porcelain face cracks up with a diabolical and wide-eyed smile.

She opens fire, the hammer hits and a bazooka rocket was fired at Davak.

Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Re: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeTue Jul 10, 2012 6:46 pm

Davak was still laughing when he heard the song. It entranced him, and he started to get up with a glazed look on his face. He hardly noticed the person in front of him, and started singing the song lightly to himself, waltzing to himself slightly. Davak stopped in his tracks when he heard the word 'playmate' however, and he turned to look at the woman standing on the railed platform.

Knowing something was up, The Child materialized a small page within his mind. Reading a bit to himself, he turned back satisfied. The Child managed to get out the first two words as The Darkness sat on top of him. The resulting sentence became mangled by the half switch of control, before The Darkness threw The Child at The Light within the chambers of Davak's mind.

"Hi Zoey!" Davak began in a bright and cheerful voice, which turned into the rich, low toned voice of The Darkness. "So nice to see you again." Smiling a dark smile before seizuring to the ground. The Darkness obtained control of the body just as the larger round was fired. Pushing himself up with one hand, Davak would hold the other out as his eyes glowed a dark purple, the dark rings around his eyes more noticeable in the darker glow. Sending energy out to the rocket as well as sending some past it. Using the energy as a guide for the teleportation, Davak would ensure that the rocket appeared before flying right into the back of an audience member's head.

Getting up and brushing himself off, Davak would then begin to laugh while extending his arms out to his sides. "What's the matter girl? Don't I get a hug?"

Her grin falters as she tries to figure out a multitude of things at once. Where that came from, why that's sounds familiar, where her 'bullet' went. She eventually managed to answer the last one though.

"Awww...Your cheating!" She said, pulling the trigger again and again. Three more shots fly towards Davak.

Still laughing a dark, knowing laugh. Davak looked up at the girl while she put two and two together. Inside the mind, The Darkness laughed out loud on the chair and said "My first victim is an idiot! Perfect!" The Child was playing with The Light who was bound by ropes that The Darkness used to keep him from interfering, and The Afraid ran to hide in a different room as he heard the announcement to the inner corridors of the mind.

Looking to her as she called him a cheater, Davak couldn't help but throw his head back and laugh even harder. Stopping himself to speak even as the first round flew his way, Davak looked calm, even sinister. "Oh no, you misunderstand girl. The one who's cheating here is the one who made this room so easy. Hell, even when its two on two you can't put up enough fight in you to Bop-It without dieing twice."

Opening his eyes a bit wider as he spoke, Davak send a cone of energy out from the spot between his eyes to cover the entire area between him and the area behind the girl. The words "And with this, it ends" signaled the triggering of his move. Teleporting two of the shots fired at him to either side of Zoey's head, Davak seizured to the ground and landed face first with a audible THUD as the last round sailed past where he stood only a moment before. The Darkness was sure the rounds he teleported would hit each ear at the same time, but was sad he couldn't do the finishing touches as The Light tackled him from the chair, still bound by rope.

Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Re: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeSun Jul 29, 2012 10:09 am

The two shells collide and the girl is engulfed by flame before she could pout. A flaming mass flops the the ground in amongst the blackened metal.

Quip: Eliminated
1 to Davak. 6 to go.

A voice echoes around the room that was smug and all to comfortable with being in charge of proceedings.

"Aaaah! I see. So someone with power has arrived at last. Quip was killing most contestants before they even got a chance." This voice postured as it rang from speakers in the corners of the walls.

"One thing that puzzles be is that there's usually a trigger mechanism for when she dies that hasn't-"

A small, dirty giggle can be heard from the blackened body. The remains of the brightly coloured outfit was laughing in a constant loop, over and over again.

"Ah! There it is..." The voice sloaps off into it's own chuckle, low and expectant.

Bombs within the piles of toys go off. Like popcorn kernals sounding in random directions as though standing inside the pot. Chunks of tile and toy and plastic fly in all directions as the yellow flashes convulge on Davak.

Davak - The Villain Tournement Empty
PostSubject: Re: Davak - The Villain Tournement   Davak - The Villain Tournement Icon_minitimeMon Jul 30, 2012 5:54 pm

Davak's head was a mess. The Light and The Darkness fighting on one side, The Child playing "Involuntary Tag with a Chainsaw" with The Afraid in the various rooms of the mind, and a single stranger walking in with a dark brown coat toward the big chair and sitting down as if he belonged there.

Davak's body itself was on the ground seizuring for the majority of the fireworks display before this man took control and changed the appearance entirely of Davak to onlookers. A dark brown trenchcoat formed over him, closed and covering any traces of the robes to exist. His face changed slightly, becoming darker in tint with blue eyes instead of purple. Blonde hair grew out in a simple, short hairstyle as the new Davak raised himself from the floor.

Waving to the crowd, Davak popped his hand off as if it were a marshmallow on a stick; turned the hand around, and pulled a pair of circular glasses out. Putting these on his face as he replaces his hand, Davak turned to the speakers and extended a hand as if he could give the man a handshake. He seemed to be waiting for someone to make the next move as he spoke, the words he spoke had an unmistakeable accent to them, one that would be difficult to place if you hadn't heard his name before.

"Oi, I'm Ted."

"Really, the contestants that come through here..." Came a quiet reply as though talking to someone else. "They'd be better off sitting in a cage, poked with sticks. At least they'd pay a debt to..."

The voice came back, most definately replying to the man in the half-destroyed room.

"Ted. Really? Is that short for something? Are you forgetting the 40 vowels and consenants that sounded great in the last Elvish dictionary you pawed through last night or are you really going with 'Ted'? The prize is genuine, you realise...I have a feeling you'd prefer a cup of tea if you struggle through this."

A moments silence: "Well...Ted. I am Lord Kyrios, ruler of this empire and your final opponant. How about we see how good you really are before then? Quip is a capable fighter but there's a reason she's always first. I think we'll see cracks appear."

Just before the PA cuts out, Kyrios mutters as he moves away from the microphone: "Ted...Frightening..."

Two doors spring open, revealing the way forwards. The stairs were lined in a dusty scarlet carpet.
