PostSubject: Nell Corriak - The Villain Tournament   Sun Jan 29, 2012 4:52 am

Challenger: Nell Corriak

New Phylis Castle looms, blocking the grey weather and the gagged sun behind a turret. The banners of purple struggle against their restraints that are snapped onto the wall. The colour continued along the rows. Two long lines of The Black Fox's purple army stood in two rows, making a violet hallway towards the large doors to the entrance hall of the castle. As you walk, long trumpets will sound, announcing your arrival to the Tournament. You are here to test your metal, skill, daring and cunning against what Lord Kyrios deems the strongest from the worlds he's claimed. His generals stand between the creature himself.

Not a whole lot is known about him. From what the people of New Phylis know, he is a mighty warrior and powerful, almost god-like creature that carries the power of death to use on his enemies. He can lay crops to waste and render a man's strength that of an infants. He is regularly known as 'The Black Fox' just from his description. They're all in favour of the Lord's hunger for an empire, and keen to see it grow. They seem to be happy, making armour, weapons or researching all day. Talk of a 'Disgusting Red Foxes', one's called 'Tyro' by some of the researchers or scientists, are usually followed by something to the effect of "The Empire will crush them all!"

Those people are behind the men in purple, screaming and shouting. The noise makes it hard to get the whole gist but it seems like "Go home now!" and "No one beats The Empire's elite!" As the doors open before you, the trumpeting reaches its climax and stops. You walk in, of course, to have the doors closed.

Then locked behind you, nothing but the crowd to liven up the silence.

Nothing but a small whirring could be heard in the massive hall. Massive pains of glass flooded light upon the marble pillars. Stacks of clockwork or electronic things - clocks, toys, Game Boys, phones, remote controls- and explosives - dynamite, C4, bottles of vodka even - on the fine tiled floor in black and white. More purple banners are hung from the walls. The whirring came from the rafters above, metal platforms hanging between the panes of glass in the ceiling

Nell stood in the vast hall with a blank expression on his face. inside he fealt scared, mostly due to the fact that he knew the road ahead would be dangerous but he was also unsettled due to the sudden silence. he bit his lip and waited until finally he acumulated the courage to give a slight bow. he looked up with a twitch of his eye and waited for somthin, Anything to happen.

A small clockwork chattering teeth fell from the platform above, landing on it's back in front of Nell. It had a two-way radio and a small shiny charge tangled up in all the wires. The toy slowly wined down, the little feet coming to a stop.

It exploded sharply in a large white flash in front of them both.

"Now! Your going to play nice or play dead, which is it?" Something white streaks above him, followed by the loud clattering of shoes. Plastic casings attached to LCD timers with balls of wire drop from the ceiling, clattering loudly on the floor. Each one counting down from five.
"Egh! Trick question! Hee-haa!" The white powder face was framed by the long green hair and the red lips, split apart by the rows of discoloured teeth, grinning madly. In one gloves hand, were more of the bombs that were down to two at this point.

Nell's lip quivered but he bit his lip with his sharp misshapen teeth but he pulled on a strong face and stared the man in the eyes. "I want to play the game" he said trying to sound stern but slightly breaking near the end. He stood at attention and watched the man holding the bombs carefully, waiting to make a leap if somthing like the bombs dropping again were to happen.

(Sorry for being a tad late.)

The man was, in fact, a girl. No more than a teenager, staring straight back at him with nothing but a tremendously gleeful smile on her face. The white make up has been heavily smeared on, contrasting horribly with the blood red lips and the bright green hair. It was thick, long hair that sat over one shoulder. The bizarre, miss-matched clothing of a purple dinner jacket mixed with a yellow t-shirt and a short, green skirt made her look like...well, a clown of some kind.

The bombs go off, as indeed they must, bringing with them a bright flash. A painful, disorienting burst of white multiplied by three. A hideous cackle erupted from above. Reminiscent of a drunken witches.
"You seem pretty normal for the guys we normally get in here? You do anything other than look gormless at your opponent? Ay!" She throws a bomb straight for Neil's head.
"Ay!" A second one is thrown at his chest. "Do you shoot lasers out of your arse or are you one of those boring, hulk-types? Just punch stuff till it gives up?"
She reaches for something from a pocket inside her jacket. A heavy, kitchen blade is teased out then held up to the bright sunlight for inspection.
"I guess we can check what your hiding, can't we?"
