First of all, my sincerest apologies for the spectacularly tedious topic title; I assure you I'm not really that boring. Secondly, I'd just like to introduce myself; I'm Claire, I'm (obviously) new here, however, I've been role-playing for several years. I generally like to write a generous amount, but value quality over quantity; I can't stand posts padded with useless information (I do, however, greatly appreciate tasteful, interesting details; don't get me wrong). I love all sorts of settings; modern, historical, fantasy, realistic; I'm always open to suggestions, and even if your idea isn't quite my cup of tea, I'm sure we'll be able to come to some sort of compromise. I'm a huge fan of well thought-out, intriguing plots and believable, relateable characters, although I also appreciate more light-hearted role-plays.
I'm really looking forward to meeting new role-play partners and getting started, I'm sure I'll get the chance to play opposite a number of interesting, unique characters during my time here, and can't wait to get started.
x Claire

Howdily-doodily-doo!

I'm Tyro and welcome to the path. We're a small group but we do some good stuff here. I should know as I'm the local critic for the writing and other stuff in the creative part of the site. RP's don't get looked over....yet, probably...

Anyway, I haven't much yet but take a look at my sig if you'd like to start looking at RP's right away. I should maybe update it with another one, perhaps...

Welcome to the site. It's always nice to swell our ranks.

Howdily-doodily-doo to you too, and thank-you- I'm really looking forward to joining roleplays (I must say I really love the idea of having a place for IC chat; I'm working on character sheets right now, and once that's done I'll probably head over there.) I also do like to write creatively, so I might be posting some stuff for you to critique in the future.

Welcome to the site, Claire! Seems like you've already had a look around, but let me know if you have any questions about anything. Of course, make sure to take a look at the Rules and Guidelines. Most everything is common sense stuff, but it's always nice to have a guideline for things. ^_^
