"He won't be that hard to find. You worry too much." The voice almost sounded caring, concerned even. Almost. Even in the dark light that the woman sat in, you could plainly see the smug look on her face. She was sitting on a desk, her long legs draped over one another casually, her arms crossed across her chest, and her green eyes fixed upon one other person. She got nothing more than a grunt in reply to her accusation, but it didn't bother her. She was confident to the point of cockiness, and everyone knew it. She was also not someone to mess with.
Even for her small size, she still managed to look intimidating. Red hair fell freely down her back, slight waves forming in it. Her body was small, she stood no more than 5'1, but her limbs were toned and lithe. But the most noticeable thing about her was the tattoo that covered her left shoulder, spiraling down to her elbow. She was the girl with the snake tattoo.
"I'm not sure where he ran off to, but I think he's injured. Bring him back."
"Of course, that's my job isn't it?" Tally said, sliding off the desk and walking toward the door. She stopped for a second to wink coyly at the figure, and then disappeared out the door. As far as she knew, she was looking for one man who had caused all this trouble. The one who had stirred up the whole gang by getting himself hurt. Tally had never met the man, she hadn't had a reason too. She was not tied to the same gang as he was, in fact, she wasn't tied to any of them. She was something of a mercenary these days, going from place to place to whoever would pay her for their odd jobs. And this was one of those times.
Her steps took her out of the building she had just been in, and she headed in the direction of where he had been seen last. It was a good place to start if nothing else. Tally took care to wrap her coat around herself, keeping the tattoo covered, and keeping herself from becoming noticeable. She looked quite normal when she did this, some might even say attractive perhaps. She slipped her hands into the coat pockets, and put on a charming facade for the people she passed by.
"I wonder what he's gone and done that he's just disappeared..." Tally said with a sigh. She wasn't sure what to be expecting, her instructions really weren't clear beyond finding this person. But then again, that's all she needed to know. Wasn't it?
