The Top Ten Reasons

Okay, well, Conway got the idea from an old class of ours and I thought this would be a fun little contest. You have to come up with top ten reasons why you should go on The Path Less Traveled and the top ten reason you shouldn't come on to The Path Less Traveled. Ten is the lowest, and one is the best. The person with the funniest and the craziest will have their list posted up on our home page for those to read. Posted below will be Conway's list. The most important thing is, have fun coming up with the reasons! You have until May 1, 2010!


Top Ten Reasons to go on Path:
1. Must not be kicked off.
2. To chat to fellow creative, crazy people. (Normals are so frustrating)
3. The site is always changing. (Awww! Flashing dragons. Sooo distracting, must look away. Do not head towards the light. Ouch I hit the computer screen.
4. The stupid author left the story/roleplay at a cliffhanger. (Update you the following words can not be typed on Path)
5. There are so many games.
6. After a long night of essay writing roleplaying is so refreshing.
7. Just what I need after being forced to read another novel. (English classes, do I need to say more.)
8. Well its this or homework.
9. I need to rant about my stupid English teacher.
10. I am trying to overcome my WOW obsession. (Claps for you!)

Top Ten Reasons NOT to go on Path.
1. I laughed manically at my computer - It got taken away. Now I have no computer. TT.TT
2. My computer crashed - Stupid virus and the people who make them.
3. I am grounded with no electronics.
4. I developed dracophobia (fear of dragons).
5. I was given almost a semester to do a project- I have not started yet and it is due next week. (anime sweatdrop or head hang)
6. I am trying to overcome my online game obsession. Rolling Eyes
7. I am on a vacation and I have been banned from my laptop. (Sucks to be you and have controlling parents or a significant other)
8. The snow storms wiped out my power. (Sucks to be on the east coast.)
9. My cat cat decided to take up typing. (Get the cat off the keyboard and get your but on Path.)
10. I have been banned from Path. (Serves you right. To bad it's an awesome site.)

Top Ten Reasons to Visit the Path:

1. Immense stress relief--incredibly fun after everything that happens.
2. Fellow crazy people who won't judge me for my obsessions, habits, etc. as people will in real life.
3. More people who enjoy roleplay. I don't have many of those.
4. Everyone puts up with my ranting about things nobody cares about, which is surprisingly therapeutic for me.
5. It gets me some social interaction.
6. Helps me get serious feedback on my work, which I can't get anywhere else.
7. The constant changing is fun to look at and keeps it interesting.
8. I really like dragons.
9. Unlike other forums, I'm not treated like a three-year-old.
10. Gives me somewhere to lurk when bored.

Top Ten Reasons to Not Visit the Path:

1. It's extremely distracting and makes me procrastinate working, sometimes to dangerous levels.
2. I get unnecessarily impatient when waiting for roleplays, possibly due to my ADD.
3. I forget to watch my siblings.
4. I forget to do other things.
5. If I get a job and can't be around as much I will be depressed. ;_;
6. I'm running out of reasons and am having difficulty posting now.
7. Crud.
8. If this is an awesome color, will I be excused?
9. I need to work on the site picture and feel bad for not doing so, FFFF-
10. By continuing to type instead of getting up, I am continuing to deny myself the cupcake waiting for me in the kitchen, a situation which would be remedied were I not here.

1. I was told I would be allowed to partake in the consumption of baked goods.
2. The people here are faaaabulous
3. Because it's so nice here
4. We change colors like how Kevin changes his avatar, there's always something new.
5. You get an awesome new name like John Laserbeams
6. My name is El Legarto de Diablo "The Devil's lizard"
7. It's funny because it's a male genitalia joke.
8. Because you're in good hands, that's All-state stands.
9. Our mascot is a dragon that eats people and shoots fire.
10. Dah, I lost a bet.

Top Ten Reasons NOT to go on Path.
1. You're on the breakthrough of finding a cure for all types of cancer.
2. You saved the world from a meteor by knocking it out of the park with a wooden bat.
3. Your name is Barack Obama and you won a Nobel Prize for no reason
4. You have a triceratops helicopter named Slag
5. A space dragon just ate your mother
6. You know for a fact that there were only ever three Star Wars movies.
7. You're Dr. Manhattan and nothing can stop you.
8. You have swine flu and don't want people to contract it over the internet.
9. To make Syldoran feel bad because she thinks we aren't on because she procrastinates on her job drawing us.
10. You are a baby seal that walked into a club. Lol.

lol XD. Good job you guys. They are funny. ^^ I might make a vote out of this. I don't think I could pick XD. Don't feel guilty Syl!

Top Ten Reasons to go on Path:

1. It helps me get over my previous gaming obsession.
2. Helps with my enlish and gramma skills (On purpose of course =])
3. To look at all the prettyful pictures.
4. Gives my imagination a work out. ( "Yeah thats right walk away, Wait no picking up a desk, I'm warning you I have a buff imagination" *Desk gets thrown* -Dead-)
5. I've got a journal on here, And its fun to rant on it. (Never putting a diary/journal on a computer again, God that didn't work well)
6. I get to feel smart if I notice a mistake someone has made and help them.
7. I can suck up to Frozen and hope that helps my results in this
8. Because Frozen is here and I get to talk to him.
9. Because for once in my life I have run out of things to say.
10. Because that ^^ really deserves to be mentioned twice.


Top Ten Reasons NOT to go on Path.

1. Because there is a weird person with the username of Shiva who makes genitalia jokes.....
2. Because the genitalia jokes aren't even any good (Sorry Shiva, No offense)
3. Because while I was writhing down my journal I actually should of been hanging the washing on the line.
4. Because I really should of cared that there was a snake eating dads dog outside.
5. Because I just did a Shiva and made a bad joke (Really I am sorry Shiva)
6. Because I end up spending 10 minutes staring at the moving emotes while grinning like an idiot.
7. Because my computer broke
8. Because I broke it.....
9. Because I never seem to get anything done.
10. Because this is the last spot and I really wonted to type something really cool and funny and awesome and witty here, But now I have wasted it on this.

1. It's been my homepage since last September...
2. When you scare others off with your detailed horror rps, there are always scarier souls on The Path.
3. There are many games in which we taunt each other good heartedly.
4. It's a good excuse to skip out on dance lessons 'Actually, I'm going to work on my writing, get a little practice in, maybe next time.'
5. It has faces for everything... See! --->
6. The people don't usually make you want to kick someones cat.
7. All the green! <3
8. The path welcomes writers AND artists!
9. If you don't log in, you'll get booted.
10. Here be dragons.

Top Ten Reasons to Not Visit the Path:

1. Getting a rejection letter and refusing to write for a long while.
2. "It wasn't that I didn't write the essay because Romeo and Juliet is horrid, I just forgot because I was on The Path" is not a suitable excuse for a forgotten assignment.
3. Watching dragon's glow when there's new posts is hazardous to ones health.
4. When on The Path the priority of deadlines vs replying to roleplays get flipped
5. Typing distracts me from sewing
6. Once you walk the path it's difficult to leave.
7. Robots take over and the interweb is gone FOREVER
8. We all get eaten by giant squids.
9. The path goes on a hiatus
10. The members go on strike
