Sending You My Love (Seer/Savvy) Empty
PostSubject: Sending You My Love (Seer/Savvy)   Sending You My Love (Seer/Savvy) Icon_minitimeSat Sep 19, 2009 9:26 pm

Deep in the night a young girl walked,
searching for her home.
It'd been so long since she felt at ease
all she could do was roam.
Paige closed her eyes, remembering
the man that lit up her dreams.
A smile played on her brilliant lips;
she felt her heart grow wings.
The cry of an owl awoke her
and brought her back to 'here'
she sighed as she looked around
wishing for someone to be near.
She thought she heard a sound nearby
and she turned to see the source.
The darkness obscured her sight
"Who's there?" her voice was hoarse.

There he was again
With paper and pen
And gazing up at the ledge.
Her beauty was everlasting
Her eyes were ever glowing
And her voice the sound of birds
He hid out of sight
And cowered under light
As he scribbled as his right.
"Who is there?"
His heart yearned to answer her call
But dreaded the yell and fall
He was no one, she was all.
Silent he stayed and unmoving
Like the shadows of the shade
Till her curiosity would vanish and fade

Confused and scared, she looked around
but there was no one to be found.
She wandered away just to be safe,
her feet tread softly on the ground
she did not see the man who wrote
and stared after her, clearly smote.
Back to her house she went,
back to her bed alone.

He watched her tread
No doubt back to her warm bed
And to sleep in blanket's embrace
And the letter soon to trace.
How long he had paced
After this heavenly face
And wished forever to gaze
Upon her in that blessed haze
In the candle light he wrote
For only hear eyes to see
Upon the blank page his heart's keen
And longing dear…
'Your beauty rivals the majestic moon
And your lips sing heavenly tunes.
Your face is perfection in the sublime
And your heart is made of pure gold.
Your eyes sparkle and dance
And ensnare me in a trance.
Your delicate curves sway
To a rhythm of mystic fey
You are my hearts desire
And your laugh is an inner fire.
That lone kiss upon those lips
Will be my eternal elixir
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick hand he did sign
This little letter of binding
For only her eyes to see and cherish
And now waited upon her stand.

Upon the morn she woke again
thinking of her dream-made friend.
Upon the floor she saw a note
she picked it up wondering who wrote.
Her eyes welled up as she read
she couldn't believe the things he'd said.
She searched outside for the author
but there was no one to see.
With a sigh she read and read
his beautiful words filled her head.
Who had slipped this under her door,
and would he continue to write more?
She pinned the poem up to her wall
wondering who it was that called
himself the Eternal Shadow.
She left the house with a smile.
Back to her secret place,
in search of an unfamiliar face.
She longed to know who felt this way
but lacked the courage to say
these words to her directly.
She sat alone in shadowed silence
wishing for an answer.
She looked around,
no clue to be found,
began repeating his words aloud.

The sun licked upon the world
And he watched bird's wings unfurl
To take flight in a feathery whirl.
In his hand a notebook did rest
And his emotions it did test
Thoughts of her began to fester.
To his publisher he need write
But love of love it did fight.
Only poems of hearts pain
His ink did stain.
Crumpled paper did skew
In mind love was a colored hue
And did stick to him like glue
She was his only thought.
Only she was it he sought
To ease his troubled lot.

The wind blew through her hair
she looked around without a care.
Soon she would have to return to work,
back to the monotony of life.
The birds sang
the bells rang
Paige sang along
her own heart's song.
The stood to walk,
unable to talk.
vauge hellos
to people she didn't really know.
thoughts of the poem
played through her head
all day long.

Scribble, scrabble
Doddle and dot
Nothing came out right.
In a frustrated growl
And an annoyed frown
The papers dropped and fluttered
Grinding teeth and biting lip
Fleeting glances and blank stares
Up he looked to see her most fair
A smile pulled on his face
And heart beat kept pace
With her steps so hasty.
To reach and touch
Yearning and fear
No voice raised to hear
He let her walk by
And didn’t even try
To whisper a cry.

Of course she did not see
that the one she wanted to be
with was right by her side.
She walked on by
not knowing why
she sudenly felt less alone.
Back to her house of air
frusterated and tired,
she went back to bed.
Will there be, when I awake
a brand new letter for me to take?
I cannot help but wonder who
would claim these feelings of love.
She wished she could return
these feelings,
send him poems to his home
she closed her eyes and slept.
Her man took on a new form
a writer stood in her dreams
letting her see the unseen.
She smiled in her sleep.

Quick his pen did seek
For the paper so blank and meek
As his heart was sent to leap
'Hair so bound and tamed
Let loose the curls like rain
And let those fine strands trace
That humble cheek so lazily
Your presence so warming
Send imagery a flowing
And the mind weakening
For that dreamed weave.
How I long to stand by your side
But reduced to slink and hide
And forever in heart do sigh
For this moment so shy.
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick hand he did sign
This little letter of binding
For only her eyes to see and cherish
And now waited upon her stand...

She awoke in a hurry,
and searched for the letter
hoping to find
the one who saw her better.
She saw the paper on her floor
a smile lit her face.
As she read her heart grew sore
and she longed for his embrace.
With a glance in the mirror
she unbraided her locks
smiling as they fell.
Fingers ran through the hair
to smoth it into place.
She wished she was a poet
so she could give reply
to the beautiful feelings he expressed
that made her want to cry.
She settled on a simple note
which she posted on her door.
"We need to meet"
it simply read
"Just tell me when and where."
She left for work
with hope in her step,
trusting that when she got back
she would have a place to be.

By her home he did stay
And kept his dread at bay
With only pencil at play.
The door did swing open
For her to spring in hope.
And his love did grow.
Her hair was unbound
And spoke louder than any sound
As she danced about the ground.
A note she did leave
For him to see and leap
But only brought him to weep.
He was nothing, no one.
Not even a small hum.
He was poor and unimportant.
'Alas, don't ask me this
I yearn for you humming kiss
And open arms for bliss.
Another day, another time
I will come and cease my rhyme
And then claim you mine.
Not yet, too soon
My love, my guiding moon.
You are an everlasting bloom
Don't waste yourself on me
I am shackle bound and you are free
To you I am just a breeze.
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick hand he did sign
This little letter of binding
For only her eyes to see and cherish
And now waited upon her stand...

She returned home in a flutter
read aloud the poem in a mutter.
tears came to her eyes
and the words caused her to sigh.
She grabbed a pen
unused till then
and was quick to reply.
"Until the day you see your worth
I will wait for you.
Tell me when you find yourself
Then come into my arms."
Unsatisfied she went to bed
but happy thoughts filled her head.
She had a prince, hidden by night
and if she wished with all her might
he might come to her someday.

He came to her door that night
To read her note in fright
Would she send him away?
That this was all a facade?
A sigh he did give
And relief was short lived
At least she had received
His plea and desperate need.
'In darkness you are my light
At night you are my guide
Yet I claim nothing that is mine
You are sweater than any honey
More glorious than any rose
And kinder than any saint.
Forgive me my silence
Forgive me my disguise.
Till worthy of thine whim
I forever remain the Eternal Shadow'
With a quick hand he did sign
This little letter of binding
For only her eyes to see and cherish
And now waited upon her stand on the morrow...

She awoke early in the morn
excited for the note
she knew that she would find
writen in that now familiar hand.
She wrote him back
not able to stand the silence.
"The words you give me once again
have soothed my heart, my secret friend.
My everything longs to see your face
but I will wait.
Until you feel you're ready."
What a strange relationship,
unlike anyother
but the anticipation fueld her soul
waiting for another
note to give her hope;
make her feel less alone.
She could hardly wait
as she went through her day.
Just longing for the night
when her hidden love would visit
and leave his present
just for her.

Night once more did arrive
And bring along nervous hives.
In hand a small gift
For his lover to give.
A single red rose
The color of passion
As the love glows
Under it once more a note
For her to read
Upon morning heed
'Morning dew sparkles
And grass does sway
Under the sun's bright rays
Take this red red rose
As a lowly token from me
And let the magic within me flow
Unto you like the shyest kiss
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick hand he did sign
This little letter of binding
For only her eyes to see and cherish
And now waited upon her stand...

Upon the morn she found a rose
like velvet to the touch.
It's sweet perfume revived her soul,
in her hand the note was clutched.
A small token it may be
but to her it was gold.
She put it in a watered vase
the rose looked perfect in it's hold.
"How long will you keep me waiting,
my shy and perfect shadow?
Each day I can only think of you
My heart is yours to hold."
Upon the door which served now as a line
the modest note was hung
and she waited one more time
for his words to send her home.

Once more he came
To her door like a stray
To see what she had to say.
His heart did groan and leap
At what he did see
Written in that hand like breeze
And he set to write
Of his new questioning plight
Upon this new light.
'Dear Queen, dear Angel
The thoughts, they do tango
In my ever waking mind.
Dear Heaven, dear Sublime
What is this I find?
These words so grieving?
Why do you plead of me so?
What in me brings you to glow?
What have I done to make you yearn?
Dear Love, dear Moon
You say shadow - so true.
I am nothing, why do you call to me?
I can be bland; I can be tramp.
These words bring meaning
But what if they are fleeting?
What if I am trickster - thief?
I would bring you nothing but grief.
Why mourn a shadow on the street?
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick had he did sign
This saddened sigh
For only her eyes to see
And his heart to bleed.

The words she found next day
caused her wandering heart to stay
in the shadows with the poet.
A trickster said he,
and thief he may be.
But her heart told it different.
How could she explain
that she'd met him before
each night in her dreams?
She knew his heart
but not his face:
That one thing her fingers
longed to trace.
She picked up her now used pen
and wrote yet again
to plea to see him.
"If your words were to decieve
then you would not tell me,
this I believe.
Your humble heart calls out to me,
your face is all I long to see.
Be you handsome or homely
makes no difference
as long as we can be together.
Rather to be with a shadow
than alone in the sun."
Then she was done.
This she signed in her flowing script
Posted on the door as she did slip
back into the 'real' world.
What would she find when she returned?
Would he understand how she yearned?
She watched the clock impatiently
waiting for her time to be up,
to be set free.

All alone, no one in sight
No one there to see his strife;
No one there to hold his hand.
Over paper he slaved
Over his lips words sprang
With Deadline ever near
Her words were ringing clear
In his mind did churn.
Work aside, paper did turn.
'Your words so kind
Your words so pure
They are more than allure.
It saddens me to say
I cannot stay.
My work beckons and calls.
More letters I cannot write
I hope what I am doing is right
To my work I must attend
When at last I am free
To you I shall flee
Till then I say fair well.
Forgive me these words;
~Eternal Shadow'
With a quick had he did sign
This saddened cry
For their heart to bleed.
To her door he left
And from his pocket did slip;
His cherished notes.
Upon her door step
His work did lay
Under a single name:
Stefen Gray

After her work
she rushed back home
hoping to find
her special one.
Just another note,
but one that hurt.
She had begun to relly
on her unknown ally.
To go without word,
would surely be rough
but she could make it
she had to be tough.
Now she had a weapon
to wield against the lonliness.
A single name to light the darkness.
Stephen Gray;
a name unheard
but one that sang
sweeter than the birds.
She could not reply,
he'd come not by.
She could only wait
for the reunion brought by fate.

He sat on the bench
While his mind rested in a trench
Despair creped upon his soul.
Gone. Vanished. Missing.
His work! All his writing had been lost
Where could it have been claimed?
He was finished. Out dated.
He had it in hand so close.
Now his life rested on a line.
Lost and hopeless.
No money- homeless
All his hopes were gone.
Never again could he dream
To his lover to flee
For he would remain invisible.
Little did see,
With her his work did lay
Under the name Stefen Gray

The hours past
As she looked as the mass
Of paper’s he’d left
Unknowingly.
She gathered them all
Determined to find
The once who could bind
Her heart.
The name her hint
Could only give her a glint
Of the best way to find
Who had left these behind.
She left her house alone
Not sure where to roam
But she knew she had to give
These papers back to him.
The phone book told nothing
His name was unlisted.
She wandered the park
Without a clue
Where to go next.

PostSubject: Re: Sending You My Love (Seer/Savvy)   Sending You My Love (Seer/Savvy) Icon_minitimeFri Sep 25, 2009 10:54 pm

In his hair finger entwined
And in his eyes so blind
To the walking sign.

For hours he sat in despair
Within the morning's glare
His heart it did tear.

He turned and with a glimpse
He saw what had slipped.
In her arms his work was fixed.

Now trouble there was
For now he had to present
Himself to his love so dear.

He so plain and her so stunning
But his work did the lulling.
And to her he did his sulking.

A tap like breeze he gave
And blush did raise
And confidence was razed.

"Hello and sorry for this intrusion
While a story my tongue does loosen
And sorry for this confusion.

In your hand my work does lay
And carrier you save
If to me my work you gave."

Stopped for a moment
by a stranger
but one who was not strange
she smiled up into his eyes,
and spoke his sacred name.
"Stephen Grey, you are the one,"
she said,
"Who wrote me everyday?
For long I have longed to see
that face which stands in front of me."

She looked down the the ground
ashamed
of what she had to say.
How could she say she loved this man
when she'd met him just that day?
She handed him his precious work,
sad to see it leave.
With it he too could vanish
Never to be heard from or seen.

She met his gaze
And wished he could fade
By her beauty he was fazed.

He tore his eyes away
As his mind did stray
His heart yearned to brave.

"Yes it is I who sent to you
Those poems few
And my heart I did mew."

He longed to touch that cheek
And let his hands in her hair streak
But knew he was too meek

Hard he did swallow
And emotions did grovel
For this woman he saw lover.

"Your poems were sweet,"
she said
"Made me feel complete.
What happens now?
I must admit
I don't know how
to live again
without your words.

Will you come with me,
and together we'll see
just where your notes
have lead us."

A small smile he gave
And his eyes shown
In bliss he bathed.

Her words made his smile grow
His love now seemed possible
Her smile was true.

"Only now does it seem logical
This fancy I let bloom.
Hiding from you now seems silly.

If you so desire to walk beside me
Then why should I flee?
Our feelings are the same."

His shyness he shunned
And freed his longing.
He reached up and her cheek he traced.

She closed her eyes,
suppressed a sigh.
Her smile was true
as her heart flew.

"It's nice to know
that now I can show
my feelings that
will be returned."

But what to do?
She'd never knew
happiness like this.
She could only trust
that he would know
just where to go
from here.

Grief into nothing fadded
A smile set
And heart lifted.

In his hand he took hers
Heart no longer bearing fear
And wittnessed no tear.

"Where do we go from here?
My destiny is not clear
And different we are.

You are high class I am not.
You have a title, I do not.
You are free, I am not."

A grin of relief
set her face aglow
as she looked at this man
who had become
so quickly important.

"We go where we must,"
she replied quietly.
"You need no class,
no money, no fame.
Your love is enough
to make my heart tame.
A title's the same
An unnecessary name.
Freedom we will find
in each other's mind."

She spoke her heart true
hoping that he knew
the deepness she felt.
They began to walk
hand in hand
discovering the new feelings
that had just began.
