Howdy! I'm Tyro and I just joined up at the time of writing. I got invited apparently. I hope I can get directions to what I should do next?

Welcome Tyro! Thank you for accepting my invitation. ^^ You are part of the family now. You can go read the rules, guidelines, the newsletters and get involved! I find that starting in the game section or starting a journal is the easier way of joining up or starting a role-play. NightElf gave me that idea. ^^ Also, don't forget to vote on things and make your voice heard!

So pretty much like Roleplay Gateway, only its all green and black instead of blue and white. I can live with that.

Syldoran, I see you do character drawings. I was wondering if you were interested in a little competition. You draw one of my characters and I draw one of yours. Hold a friendly poll over who's is best?

You guys can compete with drawings and make the requests in the art section. Make sure you post your drawings there if Syl accepts your challenge! And... and... it's not exactly like rpg! It's different.... -pout- lol.

Nice to meet you, Tyro-bozu. We're a pretty friendly community. Everyone's got their quirks, but it all works out, and all of us are quite supportive of each other in our own endeavors. So if you have something you think you can only talk about with total strangers, post it up in a Journal post.

RPing is good around here, if you know what sort of stuff everyone is into. Try a little bit of everything, have some fun with it.

I'm also one of the mentors and am here to help .

Yeah the difference between this and Roleplay gateway is that we tend to cover a bigger area of writing and other creative habits and are more open to them.

We roleplay using the normal Forums none of the new roleplay stuff that Gateway is doing now, Journals as have been mentioned (Still need to set up my own lol), I believe we have something for the poet (Not my strong point so I don't have the details).

Yeah and being a smaller community then Gateway there are things like the history of time (I think) that Frozen has set up for the whole community.
